The UBC Faculty Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Leadership Program set out ambitious and broad objectives for the participants: 1) to help think critically about the SoTL literature and its implications for educational leadership; 2) to integrate SoTL research skills in educational practice settings; 3) to demonstrate a critically reflective practice; 4) to conduct formative peer review of teaching/curriculum reports that are grounded in the scholarly literature; and 5) to demonstrate effective skills when engaging in and disseminating SoTL research.
